A farm stand in the fall is that magical combination of local produce, fresh baked treats, and piles of pumpkins straight from the fields out back. Tucked in the heart of eastern North Carolina under the shade of a few old pecan trees sits Morris Farm Market.
Before we could get in the door we already had a cart full of festive mums and pumpkins. In of the market sits thousands of local products from pickles, jams, sweets, and local wines. In the back of this fall wonderland sits a cozy little kitchen counter full of homemade pies and other baked goodies. To top off our visit we indulged in an incredible peach cider float (think fresh peach frozen into a slushy and then mixed with vanilla soft serve ice-cream) as we sat outside and enjoyed the autumn breeze.
